Computer Requirements

The Bosch Crash Data Retrieval System requires a personal computer or notebook computer to run the software. The computer must have an available USB port or serial port for the data connection to the CDR interface module. The system uses very little RAM or hard disk space.

Supported Operating Systems

CDR version 3.5 software is currently supported on the following operating systems (United
States/Canada version only*):

• Windows 2000
• Windows XP (Home and Pro for PC)
• Windows Vista (Home and Office for PC)
• Windows 7
  
  * CDR will not work correctly on international version of the above Windows operating
  systems.

Notice of Discontinued Support for Windows 98 and NT in 2008

The discontinuation of support for Windows 98 and NT has been announced for the last 2
years. CDR version 3.1 and later will not install on these operating systems.
