  • NHTSA 49 CFR Part 563 Update

  • Version 3.0 Released and Shipping
    Dec. 21, 2007
    The long awaited 3.0 release has arrived and is shipping. This is a major update to the Bosch Crash Data Retrieval System. This release includes 3.0 Software update, Ford CDR PCM Kit, Chrysler CDR Cable Kit, FORD RCM Takata Cable, ODBII DLC Cable with VPS, and a new Power Supply.

    New CDR System Kits will now include the Chrysler Cables, Power Supply, ODBII Cable and Ford Takata Cable. The CDR System Kits will NOT include the Ford PCM Kit or the software subscription, those will need to be purchased separately.

    Version 2.91 was released in September 2007. This release contains updates to GM and Ford vehicles. There are no hardware updates with this release.

    Version 2.9 was released in March 2007. This release contains updates to GM and Ford vehicles. There are no hardware updates with this release.

  • CDR Version 2.8 Software Release
    Released November 16, 2005. This release contains updates to GM and Ford vehicles. New hardware was released to support software version 2.8 - new CDR Module and cables #02003320 and #02003321.

  • Chrysler Update
    Bosch has a signed agreement to allow support of certain Chrysler vehicles with the CDR System. The required hardware (purchased separately) and software (included with your software subscription) is scheduled to be available in 2007.
