| User Groups and Other Forums
There are a number of helpful User Groups,
Discussion Forums and other resources available on the Internet.
Here are few that we have found to be particularly useful:
CDRtool
User Group:
This is an online user
group for crash data retrieval users. There are currently 800+
members (as of February 2007).
Moderators: Brad Muir and W.R. "Rusty"
Haight
Requirements for joining group:
Must have successfully completed a Vetronix/Bosch approved certification
course within the past two years.
ARC
Network Discussion Forum:
This is a free online discussion forum
hosted by the ARC Network. It is geared to accident reconstruction
and traffic accident investigation but can also address Crash
Data Retrieval topics.
INCR:
International Network of Collision Reconstructionists. This is
a by-invitation-only network of crash/accident reconstructionists.
Prospective members must be nominated by a current member. The
Rules are posted in the files section. Our aims,in no particular
order, are to:
- Establish professional contacts with fellow recons around
the world
- Consult one another on difficult reconstructions<
- Share new ideas, products and techniques
- Share the results of tests and experiments
- Share court decisions and laws
- Announce courses, meetings, and product demos
- Assist other investigators in locating needed information,
and
- Share interesting and/or humorous experiences in the field
of recon.
