The CDR Interface Module is the communication device of the CDR System. Comparable to a modem, the CDR Interface Module facilitates communication between a PC and an accessible vehicle's module using the CDR System software.

The most current CDR Interface Module is either green or blue in color and has the "CAN plus logo displayed on the front. It first became available as part of the version 2.8 hardware update. If the CDR Interface Module you are using DOES NOT have the CAN plus logo on the front, you are using an out dated module.

IMPORTANT: Bosch no longer supports the older CDR vehicle interface modules which do not have the "CAN plus" marking on its label. If there are problems in the field with these older products, the customer will need to update their old module with the latest version of the product listed in the table above. The current version of software is not fully compatible with these older modules.
