What's New in CDR Software Version 3.2

Below is a summary of the new capabilities added to the CDR system for version 3.2.

Version 3.2 is a 'software only' release. The hardware released up through and including CDR version 3.1 is required to fully support coverage to date. Click here to see what's included in the latest CDR v3.1 hardware kits.

General changes to the CDR System 

There were some improvements made to the CDR software application which include the following:

  • Added "_ACM" to append to the VIN number for the default file save as name when saving ACM CDR files
  • Changed "KPH" units of measurement label to "km/h"
  • Added support for CDR "double click" file opening when the CDR application is already running
What's new for Chrysler

Changes to Chrysler vehicle coverage and CDR reports are listed below:

  • New Dodge Coverage
    • 2008 – 2009 Voyager
  • General changes for Chrysler
    • Added Pre-crash data graphs in all Chrysler CDR reports
    • Added roll angle data to CDR reports for the following vehicles (if equipped):
      • 2008 Dodge Magnum
      • 2008 - 2009 Chrysler 300, Town & Country; Dodge Caravan, Challenger, Charger, Dakota; Jeep Commander, Grand Cherokee,
      • 2009 Journey
  • Added DLC download capability for 2008 - 2009 minivans and Journey (some early 2008 minivans are not supported through the DLC).
What's new for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury

Changes to Ford vehicle coverage and CDR reports are listed below:

  • New Ford Coverage
    • 2008 -  2009 Crown Victoria (PCM and ACM)
    • 2009 Focus (ACM only)
    • 2009 Edge (ACM and PCM)
  • New Lincoln Coverage
    • 2008 -  2009 Towncar (PCM and ACM)
    • 2009 MKX (ACM and PCM)
  • New Mercury Coverage
    • 2008 -  2009 Grand Marquis (PCM and ACM)
  • General changes for Ford CDR reports
    • Added Pre/Post crash data graphs for all Ford PCM CDR reports
    • Added vehicle roll angle data and new pre-crash -5 second (10 sample/second) data parameters for 2009 Ford F150, Econoline & Escape
What's new for GM

Changes to GM CDR reports are listed below:

  • Added several Module SW IDs for:
  • 2008 - 2009 vehicles with SDMs that require 02003293 and 02003320 cable
  • 2008 - 2009 Light truck/SUV Rollover modules
  • 2008 - 2009 Pontiac G8 SDMs
  • Improved the display of Rollover fault codes and Roll Rate data
