Bosch and Crash Data Group are pleased to announce the release of CDR version
16.2. This software release includes more model year 2016 coverage from several manufacturers.
This new adapter is called the Bosch CDR 500. The CDR 500 enables the CDR Tool to retrieve data directly from ECUs with a FlexRay communications network. This is an adapter to be used in conjunction with the current Bosch CDR Tool and will be needed for certain direct to ACM imaging.
The first application of the Bosch CDR 500 will be for select BMW and MINI vehicles sold in the USA and Canada. In the near future, the CDR 500 will be required for direct-to-model imaging on Audi and other OEM brands.
